Last 2019, I listed some of the things that I wanted to do before I turn 20. I supposedly wanna go travel but as the world faces a pandemic, we are currently on a lockdown. I wasn’t able to do things as planned so instead of travelling, I decided to sew some clothes at home.
Due to my interest when it comes to fashion and since I was bored at home (but schoolwork says hi :>), I turned my mom’s old maternity dress and dad’s polo shirt into clothes that my younger sister and younger cousin can wear.
Wala kaming sewing machine sa bahay so I handsewn these clothes into something different. Nag-try pa nga ako mag-sketch but wala talaga akong talent when it comes to drawing hehe .It was tiring since mano-manong tahi lang but I enjoyed it.
Almost two weeks ko rin ‘to natapos but tuwing hapon ko lang naman tinatahi or kapag nasa mood ako. I finished Seasons 3 & 4 of Lucifer and Seasons 1-3 of Bojack Horseman while doing this.
I really like mesh and nets so I incorporated it into the sleeves.

When the clothes were done, I took photos of my two models with the help of my cousins.

Fulfilling one of my interests at this point of time feels like an achievement for me 🙂 Now that I am finished with this passion project, I am now moving on to a different interest naman.
