Ito yung pinakarecent na KDrama na napanood ko and I am quite satisfied with it!! Gustong-gusto ko talaga yung Historical Kdramas especially if it does not only focus on romance but also on the political part as well!!
- Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun in one dramaaaaaaaaaa!!! Grabe yung chemistry nila. Alam mo yung hindi super showy kasi nga nasa old era sila so pademure pa mga tao noon pero you’ll feel the connection between them. Yung simple gestures and everything <3
- Crown Prince Lee Sun/ Chun Soo hehe you’ll know why pag napanood niyo 😉 Gusto ko yung character niya because he is a person with integrity, he has this love for his people, ang talino rin niya especially doon sa part na after 5 years :>>> At first medyo rash pa yung character niya because he doesn’t know what would be the implication especially yung about sa Pyunsoo Group
- Since this is a historical drama, the men are really gentlemen. IDK but iba talaga yung portrayal ng men pag historical dramas. Most of them are really intelligent, good fighters and will always save their damsel in distress
- Speaking of damsel in distress, Hwa Gun is not included!! I also loved her character T___T Grabe yung story niya, she did everything for the person she loved. She’s a beautiful, intelligent and a good fighter as well. Too bad nga lang that is her fate huhuhu I love her story so much T___T
- Commoner Lee Sun, he was the first friend of the Crown Prince. In the end, despite of all the things that happened, his love for her and their friendship stood still T___T You can see in his character na he just wanted to be something rather than being poor, gusto niya lang naman makapag-aral but they were deprived of it before. Yung moment na nag-agree na yung father niya :((( Grabe yon. Ang dami niyang sacrifices for the people around him. You really can’t blame Sun, he’s a victim of a shabby government.
- Ga-eun, she was able to turn a barren land into a place wherein people can survive. Despite of being a noblewoman, she’s close to the poor people (she’s friends with Sun). Intelligent and beautiful as well, her love for Chun-soo was so strong tho that even after years, it was still him. Fate really played a strong part on her lie with those turn of events, but I think she’s an emotionally strong person. She’s willing to do everything the sake of his father.
- Dae-mok’s character was a sad one. No matter how evil he was, you’ll realize it in the end that he was a victim of this cruel world. Too bad, his way of changing the world made him the monster instead. He’s really intelligent if you’ll be able to notice. To be able to control the government like that is no joke. He wanted something good but then his ways are bad. He sacrificed others for the sake of other people. Every time na mag-uusap sila ng Crown Prince, you’ll realize his points eh, but then again, you shouldn’t oppress and control people.
- Master Woo Bo!!!! He’s someone you’ll look up to. Siya yung tipo ng tao na gusto ko mameet sa buhay ko and maging mentor ko hehehehe. At first medyo di siya close kay Chun soo but he lowkey cares for him so much hehehhehe
- Gon’s character was an interesting one :((( daming makakarelate sa kanya HAHAHHAHAHA In the end, I was really proud of him for what he have done :))))
- Hwa Gun’s Father broke my heart :((( He did everything to be filial :(((( Until the end he still chose his family:'(
- Yung Bureau of Water talaga eh, marerealize mo na lang na relatable siya kahit sa panahon natin ngayon
- Hmmm politics, it has been dirty naman na ever since. Rare lang naman yung honest na government. You’re lucky enough if we’ll really have a leader who has a heart for the people. Who chooses his subjects first before his personal gain. Pero it’s not only about the leader, it’s also about the people under him as well. If those people also have the heart for their subjects well maybe, just maybe the world will be a better place to live in.

- Fave ko rin yung part na King na si Lee Sun tapos he hugged Ga Eun and naglook-away yung attendants niyaaaa <3 <3 <3
So far, I loved this drama hehe :>>>> More historical dramas pa san na hindi lang romance but also tackles about society as well :))))
