EKstraordinary Ride

May 27,2018

My friends and I went to Enchanted Kingdom which is located at Santa Rosa, Laguna. As far as I remember, pinaplano na namin ito way back Grade 9 days, sa room ng Dollar, lunch time , doon sa may shelf ni ma’am Olga. T____T Finally, after 2 years, nakulayan na rin itong plano na to!!!!

After having our lunch at McDonalds, we went straight to Enchanted Kingdom and bought tickets. I was actually with Dad and my sister because Dad drove for us<3 Too bad Mom can’t go with us because she has another schedule. Medyo mahaba yung lines maybe it’s because not all ticket booths were open. It’s a weekend as well and it’s still May so vacation pa ng students. We took lots of photos by the entrance and eventually caught up with our other friends. I separated with Dad and Meg because they know that I’ll be joining my friends this time. Date muna sila ni Daddy hehe

Flying Fiesta

Rate: 3/5

For the first ride, it was exciting. At first , I was kind of scared because that was the first time that I will be riding those kind of rides with my friends or even alone. It was a new thing for me but still, I told myself that this will be fun. When it started, it seemed like it’s just a carousel but then it went higher!! That feeling when it was going around but at the same time you’re shaking up and down. I realized that it wasn’t even scary at all. It gave me a feeling like I was flying. I loved the breeze and everything. Over all, this ride hyped me and made me look forward to other rides!!!

Dodgem/Bump Cars

Rate: 2/5

We waited for some time but then I didn’t get bored at all because we were too busy chatting or taking photos with one another. Bump Cars are exciting if only we got lots of time :< The moment we entered the arena or the playing area, it felt like we just played for few minutes. It was somehow fun because we (Nikka and I were on the same car) were not caught at the traffic jam (IDK what you call it but they were stuck in one place)!!! It was fun going on a great speed tho then bumping with another car haha. (Note: this is only allowed in playing arenas and can’t be applied in highways and roads, thank you.)

Up,Up and Away

Rate: 3/5

This one’s not an extreme ride but it’s not for the people who easily gets dizzy. This is one of the chillest rides ever. I can even drink my buko shake here while riding ( our ticket was packaged with a free buko shake hihi), but I didn;t try doing so. I love feeling the breeze so this ride’s a good one for me. Just chill and fun.

Roller Skater / Caterpillar

Rate: 4/5

I love this one as well!! I really love the kind of rides that accelerated forward and of course, buckled as well. (You’ll know what kind of ride that I hate on the latter parts hehe). I enjoy the speed, wind, twists and turns and as well as the screams hahahahaha. I can only scream this loud if I am at these kind of places or even concerts hehe. Thanks to Lizzie na kasama ko sa pagsigaw heheheheh <3 <3 <3

EKstreme Tower / Tower Drop

Rate: 4/5

This is the ride that I am most anticipating for. I haven’t tried this ever since and not even any other ride similar to this. It looks really exciting for me. During the time that we tried this ride, there’s no line because it was still sunny at that moment so people weren’t really  lining up for it. Since we don’t want to waste our time to later, lining up for long lines, we opted to ride this one.

The boys went first and while they were ascending, I suddenly felt nervous. I thought twice if I should continue with this choice but we’re already here so why not try this one? When they finally reached the top, you’ll be able to hear a clicking/locking sound and then suddenly it drops. Their sudden screams made me nervous but I was able to shrug it off. Strong ako eh :”>

It was already our turn and I sat beside Nikka and Lizzie. When the ride slowly ascends, I was holding Nikka’s hand and I was already screaming HHAHAHHA. I thought about my life choices, if I what would happen if this ride will fail, what ifs and such because I am such an overthinker hehehe. For awhile, I was able to get a good look of the view. I tried to look up to see if we’re already at the top but you won’t be able to see it because it’s made as if you won’t be able to know where you are.

You know it’s the end when you heard the clicking sound and I went from OH MYGHAAAAAAAAAAD to completely silent because I lost my breath HAHHAHAHHAHA. I was holding on to Nikka’s hand tightly ‘coz I was really SHOOKT. I even felt that I got lifted from my sit due to the sudden descend. I went from being speechless to I feel like crying to laughing it off. Muntikan na ko mabaliw sa ride na to jusq

It took me awhile to stand up from my seat because I wouldn’t really forget this experience. It was shocking but to be honest,  I enjoyed it hihi <3 <3 <3

Anchors Away

Rate: 5/5

Never Again.

This is the most deceiving ride of all time (for me). Angge, Nikka, Juancho and Paul went first so while I was taking photos, I saw them and they seem to be calm. They sat at the middle section and I told myself that it would be the safest place at the ship. I really don’t like the rides that goes back and forth, as I had mentioned, I love rides that accelerates forward. I am not fond of the feeling of dropping as if you’re being pulled down and it goes back and forth, I really hate thaaaat!

While waiting for our turn, I kepp on sorting out my thoughts that it even became calmer when I saw Angge drinking water during the ride. I was like ?!?!?!??! Maybe it was that comfortable – or so I thought.

Lizzie, Kath and I went to sit at the middle section. I was in between them and when the ride started, I know that it won’t feel good. It swayed a little, a little and then a lot! The ship was sailing higher and I just realized that I was holding onto Kath’s hand. My legs and knees were literally shaking every time I’d feel that ‘drop’. They were shaking to the point that I can’t feel my feet. I kept on shaking Kath’s hand because I feel like if I didn’t do it, I won’t even feel my whole body HAHAHHAHA.

This was the ride that I screamed a lot!!! To the point na naubusan na ako ng words na isisigaw kaya paulit ulit na lang sinasabi ko HAHAHHAHHAH I don’t know but our ride seemed longer in duration than that of the one that preceded us.

When the ride ended, parang naiwan kaluluwa ko sa ere. I really hate this kind of ride HAHAHHAHA. It will be a memorable experience but I don’t think I’ll try this one again (for now.) It really drained my energy HAHHAHA

Air Race

Rate according to observation: 4/5

I wasn’t able to ride this one because (1) Von and I got separated from the group so we got lost. We were too busy taking lots of photos hehe. (2) I still have trust issues due to Anchors Away HAHAHHAHA . I think this one’s the kind of ride that I’ll enjoy (if I ever I rode it) because it looks exciting hehe :>>>> My friends told me that they really did enjoy that ride :))) So maybe next time 😉

These photos  below are the reason why we got separated from them HAHAHHAHAHA

1st time na nawala kami coz:

After that, nakita namin sila sa may Brooklyn place then we took photos there again and ito yung 2nd part na naiwan ulit kami HAHAHAHHA then sa Air Race na namin ulit sila nakita:

Agila, The EKsperience

Rate: 5/5

Rating this with 5/5 not because of how extreme it was but because of how beautiful it was.

Waiting game was really strong. It was really tiring to fall in line and it was windy at this part of EK so we felt sleepy while waiting in line. It took us lots of minutes before we can even put out things inside the lockers (free of charge for an hour ) and another couple of minutes to be able to get inside. There was a total of 3 stations before reaching the main theater. The story telling part (per station) was cute especially if you’ll bring kids because they will find it enjoyable.

Lockers

Walking on our way to the theater (we’re on the way to the highest floor by the way), it felt somehow tiring because we were standing and waiting for a long time already. Finalllllyyyyy, we got to go inside the theater! There were seat belts and there’s a pouch beneath your seat wherein you must put your belongings. There were railings in front since we’re at the highest part of the theater.

1st station/ 1st room wherein the story unfolds
3rd station
Walked our way up to the theater!

Once everyone was ready, the railings descended and our seats were lifted. It was an amazing EKsperience afterall. The short clip felt as if we were really there. You’ll be able to feel the rain or fog, smell the scent of the flowers, fly as if you are on a bird, sound effects are amazing as well and lastly you’ll see how amazing the graphics were. You don’t even need a 3D glasses. The technology was so great and I somehow hoped that it would be integrated to other cinemas as well (But I know it’s impossible for now and if even so, it’d cost much higher).

Theater seats

My friends and I were even joking that we were able to tour the Philippines just by going to EK hehehhehehe

It was beautiful yet it was too short knowing how long we’ve waited in line. Still , a 5/5 for it 😀

Grand Carousel

Rate: 3/5

Since we’re tired from the things that we did, we decided to buy foods and after grabbing our shakes, we went to ride the Carousel. Chill as well hehehe. There’s no long line so it’s goooooood. IDK but I think carousels are not that exciting for a group of friends, because I think it’s more on the romantic side?(Next to Ferris Wheel of course haha) Or maybe if you have kids with you because they will enjoy it a lot . The Grand Carousel is really pretty and gives off an elegant vibe :”>>

Jungle Log Jam

Rate: 5/5

It’s time na para mabasa. After deciding which way to go, we decided that it’s time to ride the water rides or whatever you call it hehe. First one is the Jungle Log Jam. This ride is the one that really made me nervous. I was kind of scared because of the thought na baka tumalsik ako HAHAHHAHAHAHA. Our arrangement at the log went like this Von-Lizzie-Me-Nikka, but kaming tatlong girls nasa likod na section nung log since parang may harang sa gitna so si Von lang and his bag yung nasa harap.

At first, syempre chill lang but then during the first drop, I already screamed a looooot!! It was really scary for me because I feel like anytime, I’ll be tossed out of the log HAHHAHAHAHA. When we’re near the second and last drop, the steepest one I was already praying at the back of my mind. I was holding onto the bars and as well Lizzie because I don’t want to be thrown away HAHHAHA, but I am not kidding, that’s what I was really thinking about during that time.

Slowly we approached that top and then it dropped and I really screamed (‘coz ano pa ba ang magagawa ko kundi sumigaw na lang hahahhha), I was even able to see the flash even though my eyes are closed HAHAHA (How did I even?) We got out of the boat/log and I just realized how bad the water smelled.

Rio Grande Rapids

Rate: 3/5

The last water ride. We lined up for a while but eventually, we got to ride it even though it’s already dark. When we were riding the boat, I was about to seat somewhere but I let her take that seat .(I forgot if it was Ana or another friend haha). I ended up seating at the last vacant seat and guess whaaaaaaaaat?!?! Among the 8 of us in that boat, I was the only one who was still dry HAHAHHAHA

So it went like this, the journey started and the water went inside the boat. While we’re traversing, the boat rotates and I thought that I’ll get wet this time but yaaaaaaaaaaay, I didn’t! I felt really lucky at that time but then, there was this falls, we were approaching it and I thought that it would get me this time. But then, when we’re so close to the falls, the boat rotated again and unfortunately, Jeje got drenched instead HAHAHHAHAHA.

It was fun because I never thought that it’s possible to ride Rio Grande Rapids without even getting wet.

Taken during noontime
Taken during noontime

Those are the rides that we were able to try :<<< We weren’t able to try Disk-O-Magic, Swan Lake (I want huhu),  Space Shuttle (I won’t dare to try it tho haha), and the Wheel of Fate (T_________T). We planned to ride the Ferris Wheel before we leave but then, the lines were too long and we needed to go home already 🙁

The time we had there wasn’t enough tho :< I really wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel since pre-school days (HI KSLC/KSCSI Field trip hehe) but mom didn’t want to so I told myself that this time, I’d try it. But then :((( I failed to do so hahaha, maybe I can go there next time hehe
